What to expect on your initial visit.
A comprehensive assessment will be performed on every initial visit. A full postural scan, a specific movement assessment, range of motion, and treatment. Our goal at MOVE is to diagnosis the root of the problem, not just treat symptoms. For more details and pricing, check out Our Services
What to wear
Make sure to wear something that we can get to your problem area. Whether it be shorts/yoga pants and a sports bra, tank top or t-shirt.
Do you only treat athletes?
We treat everyone and anyone. We definitely tailor to the athletic population, but if you are moving through space, you are an athlete in our eyes.
Do you perform talks or seminars?
We do host a few educational seminars and talks a few times a month at various locations. Stay updated on our Social Media to find out where our next talk will be! If you're interested in having us speak at your event please feel free to contact us.
Do you accept insurance?
Currently, we are not participating with any insurances. We can provide all of the essential paperwork you need in order for you to submit it to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
What is Myofascial Release?
Myosfasical release is an alternative therapy that treats skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles
Fascia is a thin, tough, elastic type of connective tissue that wraps most structures within the human body, including muscle. Fascia supports and protects these structures. Research has proposed that this soft tissue can become restricted due to overuse, trauma, and/or inactivity, often resulting in pain, muscle tension, and corresponding diminished blood flow.
